Romney Asked VP Candidates For 10 Years Of Tax Returns

As part of their vetting process, Mitt Romney’s campaign asked the short list of potential Vice Presidential candidates to provide 10 years of tax returns. According to the Daily Beast, the requirement was consistent with the past practices of both Republican and Democratic campaigns.  Indeed, in 2008, Mitt Romney turned over 23 years of taxes to John Mccain’s campaign when he was under consideration to be the Arizona senator’s running mate.

Democrats and Republicans have came out against Mr. Romney for only releasing two years worth and he shows no signs of releasing more as he continues to get attacked by the Obama campaign while sliding in the polls.
